From the Ibero-American Nutrition Foundation (FINUT) we extend a warm welcome and invite you to participate in the FINUT 2027 Conference, which will be held from April 22 to 24, 2027 at the RIU Plaza Hotel in Panama City, under the theme “Nutrition with equity: Building solutions from science.

FINUT is a non-profit organization founded in 2011 with The purpose is to promote knowledge, research, development and innovation in Nutrition and Food in the Ibero-American sphereOur programs are aimed at training professionals and researchers, and promote collaboration with public and private entities to offer scientific answers to the challenges facing the region.

La latest edition of the FINUT Conference, held in Medellín (Colombia) brought together 470 participants from 25 countries, who took part in 59 scientific activities and presented 220 published communications in a high-impact scientific journal. The high rate of generation of new collaborations and networking opportunities reflected the integrative and international character of our Conference. Academic professionals, researchers, and postgraduate students represented 65% of the attendees, while 35% consisted of clinical professionals in Nutrition and Medicine, undergraduate students, and representatives from the food and catering industry.

The FINUT Conference 2027 aims to consolidate an open space for exchange, dialogue, and integration, in which all stakeholders involved in Food and Nutrition participate. We seek to promote evidence-based solutions that contribute to improving population health and promoting fairer and more sustainable food systems in Ibero-America.

The 4 thematic axes of the FINUT Conference 2027 are:

• Clinical Nutrition and Healthy Nutrition throughout the Life Cycle
• Nutritional epidemiology and public health challenges in Ibero-America
• Methods and tools in Nutrition
• Safe, healthy, sustainable and social food
