Note: No summary submitted through any means other than the official channel, which is through this page, will be accepted.
Thematic areas
The author must select one of the four thematic areas of the FINUT 2027 Conference so that the Scientific Committee can assign it according to the author's request; however, the Committee may consider that the work is better suited to a different thematic area than the one proposed. The thematic areas are:
- Clinical Nutrition and Healthy Nutrition in the Life Cycle
- Nutritional epidemiology and public health challenges in Ibero-America
- Methods and tools in Nutrition
- Safe, healthy, sustainable and social food

General regulations
Deadline for submitting communications: November 2, 2026
- Language and publication of abstracts
- Abstracts must be submitted obligatory in English.
- The presentations (oral or poster) at the Conference, can be carried out in Spanish, English or PortugueseThe guidelines for the presentation of oral communications and posters will be published and sent after the acceptance of the works.
- All accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Physiology and Biochemistry (Q1, impact factor 4.3), therefore they must be submitted ready for publication and the authors are responsible for the quality of the data presented.
- Publication and originality of the work
- Submitting a work implies the authorization for publication in the FINUT Conference Abstracts Supplement 2027.
- Abstracts of previously published works will not be accepted.
- Submissions may be accepted that present additional data to those already published previously in a study.
- Authors and registration
- Each job can include a maximum of 10 authors, including the person who will present the communication.
- At least One of the authors must be registered at the FINUT 2027 Conference so that the work can be included in the event's abstract supplement.
- The person who will present the work (author/presenter) must be registered for the event before February 2, 2027. This deadline cannot be modified to ensure the timely publication of the FINUT 2027 Conference supplement.
- The same person may be the author/presenter of a maximum of 2 jobs, although you may be listed as a co-author in as many works as you wish.
- The presenting author agrees that all co-authors are aware of and approve the content of the work before its submission.
- Conflicts of interest
- Any conflict of interest This must be declared in the summary submission form to ensure transparency in all areas of the event.
- Presentation format (oral or poster)
- In submitting the abstract, the authors will be able to indicate your preference presentation format (oral or poster).
- The Scientific Committee will decide on the final presentation format and will communicate it to the author. During the event, selected oral presentations will have 8 minutes in one of the official symposium rooms; poster presentations will have 4 minutes on the digital poster display screens.

- The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject the summaries that do not comply with the regulations.
- Summary quality
- Since the abstracts will be published, authors should pay special attention to the scientific, grammatical and spelling quality of the text (English language).
- Abstract format requirements
- Maximum length of the summary: 250 words (from the introduction to the keywords).
- Title (in English): maximum 30 words, in all capital letters.
- Abbreviations should be standard.
- Keywords: maximum 5.

- The submission of abstracts will be carried out exclusively through the online platform of the FINUT 2027 Conference.
- To submit a summary, you will need to create a user account on the platform.
- The Organizing Committee will contact you to notify you of the resolution about your job, as well as to inform you about the registration process, in case you have not already registered.
- From your account you will be able to:
- View and edit your summary within the established deadlines.
- Review the notifications of the event.
- Manage the details of your registration.

- Registration: Whether you wish to wait for the committee's decision on your work to register for the event, or you do not wish to wait for it to register, you can always register by clicking the button below, logging into the platform with your username and password, or from the registration page of this website, indicating that you are already a user of the platform.
